ARTS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

ARTS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS is a three-year transnational partnership project that uses the creative processes of theater, film and new digital technologies to promote learning and raise awareness of human rights and gender equality across Europe. [2019 – 2022]

The project resulted in the creation of a collaborative module “Art for Human Rights”, consisting of lectures using five manuals and the book “Art for Human Rights” as material, along with national and international research on human rights and gender equality.

In addition, five partner organizations from Ireland, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Spain have jointly designed a new Mixed Curriculum “Train Trainers” program to train educators, teachers and artists on how to implement the Art for Human Rights module with adult learners- including organizations working with marginalized groups in adult education.

Target groups include artists, teachers, adult learners, community development workers, drama leaders and organizations working in the fields of equality, inclusion and human rights.
