HEDA
HEDA – Human, Europe, Democracy, Art is a project that develops a method to approach social and civic education in secondary education through theatre techniques and generally through art and includes partners from several European countries [Greece, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Iceland, Serbia]. Supported by the ERASMUS + Program of the EU, 2022-2024.
THEATER IN EDUCATION ABOUT CIVIL AND DEMOCRATIC VALUES
The methodology is the result of cooperation between artistic and educational organizations, which together try out and develop adequate ways to apply theater techniques to improve students’ democratic competences. By introducing art into education, social and civic competences, understanding and acceptance of democratic values and human rights, critical thinking of students and teachers can be improved.
