THINKING PEACE

For the fourth time, DAH Theatre’s Arts and Human Rights Festival connects different forms of art and human rights activism with the wider community. The festival presents the works and concepts that highlight and connects art and human rights, advocate for respect for human rights and the rights of all living beings. The Festival aim to encourage and empower citizens to react against injustice and to take an active role inciting positive change in their communities.

The Program will includes theatre productions, workshops, installations, concerts, talks, films from Brazil, Croatia, France, Greece, Jordan/Palestine/Czech Republic, Israel, Macedonia, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Russia, Taiwan and Serbia.

SHORT FILMS ON THE PROGRAME

This year, DAH Theater invites authors of short films from all around the world to submit their works dealing with the topic of peace and human rights! The best films will be screened on the program of the fourth Thinking Peace Festival.

How to think about peace in times of numerous conflicts and what are the characteristics of peace that is not just the absence of war, are some topics that we will reflect upon on the Festival.

The Festival is currently established to be biannual with smaller program PROLOGUE in between, on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, 10th of December.
