The first online discussion of the UNDER 600 platform will be on January 31, 2025 at 6:00 PM with the topic: Under the microscope of sustainability: How to develop independent theatre for tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow.
Štrih (Skopje, Macedonia), and its partners DAH Teatar and Korifej Teatar (Kolašin, Montenegro), enable networking and collaboration opportunities and promote independent theatre productions to increase visibility and attract new audiences in the Western Balkans.
The speakers are: Biljana Radinoska – theatre director who leads independent theatre in and outside Macedonia, Petar Antevski, producer and president of the independent theatre Presrt and Ivica Dimitrijević – actor of the Macedonian National Theatre who also has his own independent production.
On March 21 and 29, we expect other two online meetings and discussions with regional artists. The platform will be presented in June at the ART AND HUMAN RIGHTS Festival of DAH Theatre, from June 10 to 13, 2025, in Belgrade, Serbia.
Under 600, supported by the British Council and European Union is a platform for independent theatre makers in the Western Balkans to connect, collaborate, and share creative ideas across borders. Our digital stage provides a space for networking, project sharing, and professional growth, empowering artists to expand their reach and impact. Through meaningful connections and open dialogue, Under 600 transforms how independent theatre professionals interact, learn, and create together. We believe in the power of collective creativity and the unique artistic voices of the Balkan region.
