Jadranka Andjelic, director and Natasa Novakovic, production manager, participate on the fifth edition of Transitable Theater Territories (TTT), an international meeting on theatrical theory and practice, organised by Residui Teatro from 29 Oct. -2.Nov. 2024, in Madrid, Spain
The meeting is dedicated to the presentation of contemporary creations, training and exchange between the public, young artists and the most important artists who have significantly marked the history of group theater at European and international level. In this fifth edition of the TTT, the encounter dedicates part of the event to the 60th anniversary of Odin Teatret with the participation one of the most important European director, Eugenio Barba, together with actress Julia Varley. Jadranka Andjelic presents the work of DAH Theatre in the frame of the topic: GROUP THEATRE AND COMMUNITY INTERVENTION.
Directors, Dijana Milošević participates in the international conference Activism and Art – historical experiences and participatory practices organised by the University of Arts in Belgrade and Jadranka Andjelić at the 1st international think-tank RAUM ZEIT ZIRKUS about Site specific and time specific circus and performance, in CircusMühle Kelbra, Germany, from November 20th to 24th 2024.
As part of our think tank, international experts in site-specific performance and contemporary circus will address the following questions: How can historical narratives be translated into movement? How can site- and time-specific narratives be conveyed through the physical language of the circus / performance? Which specific approaches to artistic creation are particularly suitable for this? How can site-specific performance be enriched by different aesthetics and the language of the circus? Can spoken language be completely dispensed with? What can contemporary circus achieve as a site-specific performance and which audiences can we reach with it?
